What is an Astrology Chart?

An astrology chart is a visual representation of the planets, and their various geometric angles to one another, at the time of your birth. 

What is an Astrology Reading?

An astrology reading is an interpretation of the strengths and challenges in the energies of the planets and angles you were born with. These energies are available to you and learning to use them most effectively can result in a life of more ease and understanding.

What can I expect to get from a reading?

What shows up to me for each individual is unique. This is not a psychic reading. While some intuitiveness is used, the exchange and discussion allow me to bring these energies more into your understanding and consciousness so that you have better use of them. The goal of all readings are clarity and growth. Each chart has such depth and breadth that it is wise to come with some questions or specific areas most important to you right now.

What information do I need for my astrology chart?

Date, Place and Time of birth. A chart can be read without the time but it is more limited in the specificity of information. The exactness of time matters and taking the time to check a birth certificate, baby book or ask a parent is well worth double checking.

What are the differences in the types of readings you offer?

-An initial birth chart reading is a good place to start and we can focus on a few areas you are most interested in (work, relationships, children etc). This is an overall of your personality and what energies you’re most attuned to.

-Transit and Progressed Chart Readings look at what is happening now and what may be the underlying potentials for these current stressors or changes. Transits discuss how you and your life are interacting with current energies while progressions look at the timing of unfolding layers of your soul’s path. Together they often function as the trigger point for major life changes.

-Relationship Charts, also known as Compatibility Chart reading can be a great way to assess the strengths and struggles of a relationship. It can also be used to discuss the timing of major decisions, as well as, to understand the meaning of a phase you may be in with a partner.

Do I have to be able to understand astrology?

Absolutely not! That’s what I am here for! I act as an interpreter between the sky and you. I have personally experienced the benefits of using astrology for self-reflection and so if it speaks to you, I would encourage you to begin the process of understanding your own chart. I offer astrological counseling services for clients who have this interest (see below). You can also read educational articles on my blog to help get started, but it is absolutely not necessary. We all have our gifts and crafts and I chose this path because I wanted to share my gift with you.

Can you tell the future?

No, I do not claim to be psychic. I believe intuition is something we all possess, much like a sense. I understand the world in energy, the exact manifestation of how that energy is going to show up in your life, I do not know. Generally, you can expect to walk away with a clearer understanding of yourself and how to encourage the available energy most positively in your life.

What is an astrology party?

Astrology party is a fun way to bond with friends, support one another and raise everyone’s vibration together. Enjoy a cup of tea or a cocktail with friends while an astrologer gives each person a personalized reading. Depending on the group and their relationships, readings can be done openly or privately. If you're interested in hosting your own astrology party please contact me for more details. What is astrological counseling?

My professional background has been in counseling yet I kept feeling called to incorporate my astrological knowledge more and more into my work. I decided to take the leap and move to a more authentic career path of astrological counseling. I don’t offer private professional/mental health counseling and would NOT take the place of a professional counselor. I offer counseling services focused on more thoroughly understanding your chart and the themes embedded in it for those wishing to explore this with spiritual guidance. I keep a limited number of counseling clients at a given time so that I can give each the personalized focus they deserve, if interested please inquire about availability and for more specific information.  

Cost- Readings range from $55-$125 depending on the specific reading and amount of time it requires.
